OMGosh Cheryl.......Qld is a very big place....would you like to be more specific, narrow the field a bit as to which part of Qld.....NQ, FNQ, CQ,WQ, SEQ??

And whilst you are thinking about it.....WELCOME to the forum. You might like to have a look in Park & Recreation Area Reviews, you may find what you are looking for in there.

Don't know of any coastal places that will allow fires in November Cheryl...in fact there may even be a total fire ban on then so you will have to check at the time.

The only places I know of that meets your criteria is as follows:

Borumba Deer Park http://www.borumbadeerpark.com/
Yallakool http://www.yallakoolpark.com.au/
Atkinson Dam http://www.brisbanevalleytourism.com.au/atkinson.php
Somerset Dam http://lakesomerset.com.au/

:hello: Welcome to the forum Cheryl....

Glad to have some newbies here. There are plenty of QLDers on here so you will get heaps of info from this forum.

Looking forward to hearing on where you pick to go and then to read your trip report and check out some pics. We all love to hear about everyone's travels and the good, the bad and the ugly... :*** :***

Hi CHERYL.....Welcome to the forum.
I have to agree with Gypsy when she says ''Qlds'' a big place.......What town / city are you from ????.....

One place that comes to mind is ''Inskip'',,,,,,,sorta 1/2 way between the 2 points you mentioned...
Not a bad place.....when its not crowded

Cheers

Rosco
