Where is your next camping trip to????

Postby xmasbaby67 » Wed Aug 10, 2011 3:26 pm

Just thought I would start a bit of a post to check out where everyone is off too?

We are not heading away again till November when we go to Mudgee to see Cold Chisel at Day on the Green!!! :armsup

We always stay at the Riverside CP in the middle of town in our Customline Campertrailer.

We are hoping to cramm in a weekend out to Wyangala Dam before Mudgee but have to have the plug on our CT fixed as it came loose on our way home from Forster and now there is no plug??????? And with kids sport etc we are running out of time fast........next thing you know it will be Xmas ::()

So that's me.......what's everyone else up to these days?????

No set dates, but will be going to Somerset Dam, BP Dam, and Janowen Hills before the end of the year, possibly a few times to each place. I'd like get to Sundown NP near Stanthorpe, haven't been there for 20 years, and also GIrraween NP.

:cheers

Yep still really busy Gypsy but hopefully it will settle down a bit when the netball season finishes (fingers crossed).

Hubby just got given this great campoven thingo....its two 44 gallon drums welded together on a frame with wheels and over the drums (where the fire goes) is another frame that has chains and hooks to hang your campovens on. It also has a wooden table that slots into the other end and it also has a guard running underneath the drums so the heat from the fire doesn't burn the grass!!!!! It is spectacular!!! Rosco would love it. I will get some pics this weekend to put up on here next week ......the best bit was that it was FREE!!!!!!. :+

Look forward to everyone's trip reports and pics soon!!!!!

Glad to hear that there are still some of us hanging around still for a yak :+

Have a look at Trial Bay Gaol when you are down at South West Rocks and check out the biceps on the kangaroo in the grounds there too.

DUNNO!!!!! We are at home atm. I have a one day a week job coming up, beginning next week for a couple of months. Still leaves us a few days per week we could get away on short trips. Want to go to Cobar to visit our son and famz. Not sure when our actual "next camping trip" is or where to.

I WANNA GO NOWWWWWWW!!!!

Cheers Val ::)

We went out for a drive today to have a look at all the campgrounds out that way and we think this one is the best. We will be puting it on our list of places to go.Took my 3 year old girl for a walk to have a look around and she wanted me to go get the caravan so we could stay out there, so its got her vote and at $6.60 per adult it is very nice.
