Alice Springs, Ayres Rock Resort & Kings Canyon

Postby markcrook » Thu Sep 03, 2009 1:28 pm

The flights are booked, the campervan is booked - we are flying to Alice at the end of February for 6 nights and driving to Ayres Rock, Kings Canyon then back to Alice.

Anybody have any experince of the caravan parks at the Ayres Rock Resort, Kings Canyon Resort and MacDonnell Range Holiday Park in Alice (which is the Big 4, looks good on the pictures)?
Knock me down I get right back up again,

yep... stayed at all 3!

my kids luved the jumpy pillow at MacDonnell Range C.P. but that might not excite you! Can recommend the pancakes from the van near the entry (assuming it's still there)

Can get Kangaroo tails in the roadhouse at Kings Canyon. Were $5 in 2007.. might have gone up a $ or 2. :)
