If we all relied on 1 source answers then, I guess, Encyclopedia Brittanica would still be our only source of information and the headmaster at primary school would be seen as the most knowledgable person in the world.

Yes I got responses, and yes there were some good ones. :+ ... but the more responses the better.

(am now looking for the internet forum protocol guide. anyone know where to find it?
(this is my only source of info on this subject) :$

Don't know if dog friendly or not

Cann River Rainforest Caravan Park
Princes Highway
CANN RIVER VIC 3890

Pelican Point Caravan Park
Pearl Point Rd, Bemm River VIC 3889
(03) 5158 4228 ‎

Bemm River Caravan Park
Sydenham Inlet Road, BEMM RIVER, VIC, 3889
Phone: (03) 5158 4216

There is State Forests North of Cann River, but unsure if any actual camp areas.
State Forests generally allow camping and dogs (even if not a designated camp ground)
Check link for State Forrest camping out that way

Well looks like we have some members here who are able to give you heaps more info too Marcel. Maybe you'd like to give us a report on the place when you get back....I am sure we would all like that.

Have a good trip.
