Cheesey Garlic Chicken Damper

Hi all,
Thought I'd share a little gem I've worked up while testing our camp oven in the backyard.

Cheesey Garlic Chicken Damper
1 cup plain self raising flour
2 teaspoons chicken stock powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
2 tablespoons parmesean cheese
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 tablespoon horseradish cream
Handfull of grated cheese
Milk as needed

Mix all dry ingedients with cooking oil and horseradish cream and then add milk until you have a nice dough. Place in baking dish and shape into a longish loaf. Sprinkle handfull of cheese over the top. Bake in camp oven at 200 degrees for 30 mins or until crusty and golden brown. Break into chunks and serve with butter or dipping oil.

I made this twice over the weekend and both times it was a hit. The second time we served it as afternoon tea with bush herb and chilli infused olive oil. Goes well with beer and wine;-)

It must smell ok, because this afternoon our neighbour stuck his head over the fence and wanted to know what was cooking " cos it smells pretty bl**dy good"
