Yallakool has reopened

Postby GypsyLady » Wed Jan 06, 2010 12:52 pm

I discovered during my recent xmas camp that Yallakool on BP Dam has re opened. I camped there one xmas a few years back when the dam was at 17% and I believe it got down to 3% before closing. They were pet friendly then & I can find nothing to indicate that is not still the case.

According to the Tourist Info Centre in Murgon BP Dam is now at 5% capacity and when I went for a look see I must say the CP & dam were looking good in spite of how little water there is in it.

The first website seems to have the more up to date info & price list.

It was 5% at xmas time so this amount of water in the dam in how many years would be fantastic.

Mind you all the dams are looking fabulous.
