Has this site been posted here yet? It was found and posted on another Aussie site.

The site is called Independent Camping: http://ozcamps.net/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=29

Yep it has been around for a while. See reference to it quite a lot on another forum.

Great site, I added a few of the Grampians campgrounds and have made a
few edits to others with inacurate info.
I will be adding a couple more Victorian campsites when I get my act together.
With enough contributions it could become a sort of online Camps Australia Wide.

Derek's site: http://www.aussiecampovenforum.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl. It's called Camp Oven Cooking in Australia. There is some camping discussion, as well.

Actually, there is something.

I think it's down at the bottom.

I don't use it. I have my topics I like to follow and others I don't. For example, my trip is over a year away, so I don't read about the various camp sites because I just wouldn't take it in. & the latest COG, I wait until it's almost happening and read everything just before it happens. It's really the cast iron that keeps me there (besides humour).

I think the campsite directory site was mentioned in a COG thread.
